See how your patientsare doing at home
Patients do most of their rehab at home between appointments. OrthIQ is a smart wearable that gives them cues on every rep there and saves each session so you can review it.
What goes wrong with home exercise programs
Patients skip them
After a few weeks without anyone checking on them, a lot of patients stop doing their exercises.
Nobody's there to correct form
A patient doing a rep wrong at home has no way to find out until their next appointment.
You only see clinic visits
Most of the work happens at home, and you have no record of it.
Using OrthIQ with your patients
- 01
Record the reference rep
During a clinic visit, the patient puts on the sleeve and does the exercise correctly once. The app saves that rep as their reference.
- 02
Send them home with it
They take the sleeve home and wear it whenever they do their exercises.
- 03
The app gives cues at home
It gives them cues about range and tempo during the set and scores each rep when they finish it.
- 04
Review before the next visit
Before they come back, check how often they exercised and how their scores and range of motion changed. Then you can adjust the program.
A reminder when the joint goes past your limit
After some injuries, you tell a patient to keep the joint out of certain positions for a while. They can wear the sleeve all day, and if the joint bends past the limit you set, the sleeve vibrates so they notice.
You set the limit
If you want a patient to avoid bending a joint past a certain angle while it heals, you set that angle in the app. You can change it as they progress.
The sleeve vibrates
When the joint moves past that angle during the day, the sleeve gives a short buzz. The patient decides how to respond.
You see when it happened
The app logs each alert, so at the next visit you can see how often the patient reached the limit and at what times of day.
The vibration is a reminder of a limit your clinician chose. OrthIQ is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any injury or condition.
